Poems from Kate Wallace

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic for 15 years, allowing me to come from a different background culturally. Struggling with the English language while also being fluent in Spanish helped me overcome my fear of languages and learn French as well. I am my currently my schools mascot, as well as participating in track and cross-country. While living in the DOminican Republic I started my first dance academy when I was 13 years old until I moved to the United States 2 years ago. I am a current ballet/modern dancer at the Tyler JUnior College Academy of Dance.
